Sometimes, the truth can be painful. It may be too harsh to swallow or attempt to accept.
We build up a new 'truth' to guard ourselves and protect ourselves from a heartbreak we'd anticipate.
Finally, one day, a voice whispers the truth with much subtlety.
But our mind wakes up, and our heart is left crashing.
And at some point in time, it feels as if we're at a flatline.

I think as much as I have concluded judgements about how a certain person is, I still seem to have room to allow that person to change my mind.
Maybe that's a good thing.
I have no idea.
I find myself speaking to the same people I swore never to speak to again, or who I have said I do not favour much.

Tyra Banks' famous Belly Brigade was screened on TV today on the Tyra show. Women were parading around in tubes with the words "So What?" printed across. They were screaming out (So What?)s into the camera at all those who criticised their appearance. "Oh your tee's too tight now", "Your pregnancy weight's still not off yet, gosh, I can see the stretch marks", "Your thighs are really huge", "You should go exercise honey, you need it", etc.
Yes, I agree that it is good to instill self confidence into these women who have been broken inside by those who have too sharp a tongue and too slow a brain to stop themselves from saying hurtful remarks.
But along with this self confidence, it could breed ignorance as well.
Maybe it is good to lose some weight, because your heart can then be at ease. And looking good would be a plus point.
It's just the way people put it. Not everyone can be your sugar mama, if you know what i mean.
There's always two sides to a coin.
